TasVacations Booking Process

Booking with TasVacations is easy! We have been known to be a one stop shop of all things Tassie and our job is to take the hard work out of planning your clients holiday. Our Travel Consultants will work with you to find the best solution for your client.

Creating a quote with TasVacations

To ensure our team create the best holiday for your clients there are a few details we require from you including:

  • Number of Travellers?

  • Ages of children (if any)?

  • Travel Dates?

  • Do your clients require flights or Spirit of Tasmania and where from?

  • How many nights would your clients like to spend in Tasmania?

  • Accommodation style (i.e. 3.5 star motel, 5 star lodges, 4 star self-contained with cooking facilities)?

  • Preferred hire car size (i.e. small – Suzuki Swift or similar, medium SUV – Nissan X-Trail or similar)?

  • Are there any special requests such as ground floor, walk in shower, special occasion etc?

  • Do your clients have their own pre-planned self-drive itinerary they would like us to follow or would they like us to suggest a travel route?

  • Can we assist in adding any tours and attractions to suit your clients interests?

Do you need a quote straight away or before a certain time of the day? That’s okay, just let our team know and we will either place you on hold or have the quote emailed to you within the required time frame.

Making a booking with TasVacations

Once we have created a quote for your clients we will email you the details including a client friendly travel plan and an agent itinerary including your commission details. Please take the opportunity to look through the quote and let us know if you have any questions or if any component of the quote needs to be changed.

When your clients are happy with their quote and are ready to book please let our team know so we can start the booking process for you.

At this time we require the following details*:

  • TasVacations Reference Number (for example Q#41426)

  • All passenger details including title, first name and surname (as per photo identification)

  • Date of Birth (only required for children)

  • Contact mobile number whilst travelling

  • Car hire – pick up and drop off location along with flight times

  • Spirit of Tasmania – Car make and model/year and registration. If the vehicle is over 2.1 metres in height or if you are booking your clients motorhome/campervan please refer to our booking form

  • Flights – Frequent Flyer Numbers

  • Special Requests

*Additional information may be required by particular suppliers at time of booking.

You are welcome to email the above information to your TasVacations Consultant or fill out the following TasVacations Booking Form & Payment Details for Agents. A confirmation will be sent to you within a 24-48 hours (within office hours). Please note all components of the itinerary are subject to availability until you have received a booking confirmation from your TasVacations Travel Consultant.

Group Booking Information (10 or more travellers)

TasVacations are able to assist with every detail of your clients group booking including flights, Spirit of Tasmania, a range of accommodation options, specialised tours, coach and guide, as well as group restaurant bookings. Whether you are planning a trip for a car or motorcycle group, social group, Probus or school group our dedicated Groups Coordinator Zuleika will ensure your clients needs are met every step of their journey.
